Atrophic in Tongues

Atrophic on the tongue causes red tongue, smooth, and inflammation. Some of the causing factors are bacterial infections, HIV infections, fungal infections, herpes, or cancer of the tongue. It could also be due to nutritional deficiencies, namely vitamin B12, anemia, Folic Acid, or Niacin deficiency.
Symptoms:
  1. Red Tongue
  2. Pain Tongue
  3. The tongue sensitive to spicy food
  4. Breath odor
  5. Injury to the tongue or mouth
  6. other symptoms depend on the underlying cause
The treatments are tailored to the cause. If the cause is due to vitamin deficiency, the treatment of Atrophic on the tongue is performed under vitamin therapy. If it is caused by the infection, it should be treated with antifungal or antibiotic. Other efforts that can be done are taking care of cleaning the tongue by tongue brushing and avoid the consumption of alcohol and cigarettes.
